In the Autumn of 2011 Michael Hubbard (lead guitar) enlisted the help of friends Richard Bradbeer (bass), Jim Laurie (drums) and his little brother Joe Hubbard (rhythm guitar/keys) to bring to life a vision he'd had for a long time, a rockin' guitar based, instrumental group inspired by the 'Pre-Beatles' rock music of the 1960's. No strangers to the Melbourne music scene, The Bluebottles is comprised of members of Eagle And The Worm, Downhills Home and The Greasers to name but a few.
