LOVE MIGRATE LAUNCH DEBUT SINGLE LITTLE KID
Love Migrate changed their name earlier this year from Goodnight Owl – there are enough animal named bands currently in Melbourne.
Although a number of Love Migrate’s members come from local acts like King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Sleep Decade, the band’s music is far more open sounding and controlled. The band have been demoing their debut album for the last few months with Damien Weatherly and plan on releasing an album come early 2012.
Taken from the forthcoming (and unnamed) long player is the opening single ‘Little Kid’, an upbeat and light-hearted track on the surface, but with an under lying intensity that continues the build. ‘Little Kid’ will be launched here at The Toff in Town on Thursday October 27 with Sydney buzz band Winter People and local indie experimental outfit I, A Man.
